How do I set the number of posts to display on my homepage?

In this section you can manually set the maximum number of blog post to appear on your homepage or post feed by going to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Reading > “Blog pages show at most” option and choose desired number > Save Changes.

This will set the number of posts that appear on your homepage or post feed before the pagination buttons kick in.
